Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh to appear before Tis Hazari Court today in a domestic violence case filed by his wife

New Delhi, Aug 28 (ILNS) Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh will appear personally before the Tis Hazari Court today in connection with a domestic violence case filed by his wife Shalini Talwar.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Tania Singh had on Aug 3, after hearing the petition of his wife Shalini Talwar who filed the case of domestic violence against Honey Singh and others alleging that he criminally intimidated her and caused extreme duress and torture, issued notice to the Singer to appear before the court on August 28 (Today)

Since the courts are now open and hearing will be in a physical mode Honey Singh has been asked to appear in-person before the court.

Advocate Sandeep Kapur, Senior Partner Karanjawala & Company, along with lawyers Apoorva Pandey & GG Kashyap, from Karanjawala & co. appeared on behalf of Shalini Talwar (Wife).

In the Petition Advocate Sandeep Kapur alleged that Respondents (Honey Singh and others) criminally intimidated the wife, caused her extreme duress and torture and she suffered immense pain and hurt from Honey Singh throughout the marriage.

The Lawyer demanded that the wife is entitled to a compensation of Rs 20 crores from Honey Singh for indulging in cruelty, physical, mental, sexual, economic torture upon her./ ILNS/SNG
