Seven Additional Judges appointed in Allahabad HC

New Delhi, Mar 23 (ILNS) President Ram Nath Kovind today approved the appointment of seven Additional Judges in the Allahabad High Court.

All these Judges are judicial officers of the higher judicial service cadre. These include Mohammad Aslam, Anil Kumar Ojha, Sadhna Rani Thakur, Naveen Srivastava, Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi, Ajay Tyagi and Ajay Kumar Srivastava‐I.

According to Joint Secretary to the Government of India Rajinder Kashyap, Sadhna Rani Thakur, Syed Aftab Hussain Rizvi and Ajay Kumar Srivastava‐I  have been appointed for two years from the date of their swearing-in.

Mohammad Aslam will serve till January 14, 2023; Anil Kumar Ojha till July 1, 2022; Naveen Srivastava till December 19, 2021 and Anil Tyagi will serve till December 3, 2022, from the date of assuming charge. ILNS/SNG/RJ
