PM Cares Fund be made party in COVID-19 case, Intervention application filed in SC

New Delhi, May 19 (ILNS) An intervention application has been filed in the suo motu case on COVID-19, being heard in the Supreme Court, praying that PM Cares Fund be made a respondent in the case. Petitioner also sought a direction to clarify details about the current status of the PM Cares Fund and its links with the Government of India.

Activist Saket Gokhale filed this application in the apex court, seeking a direction to clarify details about the current status of the PM Cares Fund and its links with the Government of India.

The petition also sought a direction to furnish details about the PM Cares Funds allocated and progress made towards the COVID-19 relief and the status of the sanctioned projects. ILNS/KR/RJ
