Delhi HC adjourns hearing on bail plea of Navneet Kalra to Tuesday


New Delhi, May 14 (ILNS) The Delhi High Court today adjourned the hearing in the anticipatory bail application of Restaurateur Navneet Kalra, accused of black-marketing Oxygen Concentrators, to Tuesday.

The Single-Judge Bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad adjourned the hearing on anticipatory bail application of Kalra, to 10:30 am on May 18.

Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi appeared for Kalra, while Additional Solicitor General SV Raju represented the state.

The ASG said, “This is a matter, which requires lot of eveidence to be put on record. Please give us some time. Let the matter be listed on Tuesday.

“The accused is not a high mighty person that his case be heard on a holiday. Why such a preference is given to this person?,” Mr Raju further said. ILNS/KR/RJ
