Uttar Pradesh Sept 11(ILNS): President Ram Nath Kovind today laid the foundations of the Uttar Pradesh National Law University and Advocates Chamber in a grand ceremony held in the Allahabad High Court.

He said that the best education system in the world should be adopted in the National Law University. At the same time, his special emphasis was on the participation of women in the judicial sector.

He further said that the National Law University would establish a new dimension in the field of law in the country. Here the world’s best education system should be adopted so that the coming generation can get quality law education and they can establish a new dimension in the field of justice. An equal number of female teachers and girl students should also be ensured in the university.

It was a great pleasure to lay the foundation stone of the National Law University and Advocates Chamber. Allahabad High Court is the largest court in terms of the number of judges. The tradition of Allahabad High Court, Madan Mohan, Motilal, Kailashnath Katju, etc. wrote glorious histories of India’s history from this complex, President highlighted.
Women have the natural quality of providing justice. He has the ability to give justice to all. The establishment of a just society will be possible only when the participation of women increases. Today, the number of women judges in the jurisdiction of the judiciary is less than 12 percent. The number of women has to increase. It is expected that the number of women in this High Court will increase as advocates, officers, and judges. Generally, people are hesitant to seek help from the judiciary. Justice to all. Decisions should be made in a language that is understandable to all. The first woman judge was appointed in the Allahabad High Court in 1921.

Justice should be given to women and the downtrodden. It is the fundamental right of all citizens to have justice in their hands. The enthusiasm for the judiciary should be increased among the general public. Disposed of pending cases. Increase the number of judges. Adequate resources should be made available. The High Court will proceed with the cooperation of the State Government.

On this occasion, the Governor said that in 1925, the country’s first woman lawyer was registered in the Allahabad High Court itself. He said that recently three women judges have been appointed. Said it was historical. He said that women have the ability to deliver justice. He stressed the need to increase the role of women in the judiciary. Till now the number of women is less than 12 percent, it needs to be increased. Said that everyone will have to work for justice. Confidence in the judiciary has to be instilled among the common people.

The important role of Allahabad High Court is more. Prayagraj was chosen as the best place for Law University. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Justice of the High Court and his team for providing the land.

The world-class law system in Uttar Pradesh National Law University is one in our nation and society. Students take part in law courses only after class 12th. Make a career in the field of law from the school level itself. Quality education should be provided in all institutions of legal education. Once the system is created, the process of improvement becomes complicated./ILNS/SS/SNG
