Gwalior, Apr 19 (ILNS) The Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association (Gwalior) has constituted a committee of seven lawyers to deliver free rations to the homes of financially-weak Advocates, who are found to be infected with Novel Coronavirus.
Keeping in view the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the city and the financial crisis being faced by the lawyers due to the closing of District Courts, the MPHCBA has decided to give ration to financially poor lawyers, said MPS Raghuvanshi, President of the Association.
He said Advocates Mridula Zutshi, Babita Sharma, Savita Srivastava, Renu Rai, Anoop Shivhare, Omendra Rajawat and Monu Dubey have been included in the committee. Lawyers suffering from COVID-19 can contact them to get ration, added Mr Raghuvanshi.
According to the MPHCBA (Gwalior) President, during the lockdown last year, many lawyers had to face trouble. The Association has decided to help them this year, so that they don’t suffer, he added.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court will remain closed on April 19 and 20. During this time, the Court will be sanitised. ILNS/SHV/SNG/RJ
