Lakhimpur Kheri Violence: Ashish Mishra denied Bail, two more arrested

Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 13 (ILNS) Ashish Mishra, the son of Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni was today denied bail by a Sessions Court in connection with the violence that took place on October 3. Simultaneously, two more people were arrested today.

Ashish was arrested on October 9 by the special investigation team (SIT) probing the case after more than 12 hours of intense interrogation and had been sent to 3-day police custody starting Tuesday.

Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri Chinta Ram denied bail to Ashish Mishra. The other two arrested by SIT today were sent to Judicial Custody for 14 days. /ILNS/SNG/
