Delhi HC summons 15 Oxygen refillers on May 24

New Delhi, May 20 (ILNS) The Delhi High Court today directed all 15 Oxygen refillers, who were listed in the order dated May 15 by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), to remain present before this Court on May 24.

The Bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Jasmeet Singh issued the notice, while hearing the matters related to COVID-19 treatment. The Court said the refillers will be served the notice through the Nodal Officers.

Amicus Curiae Rajshekhar Rao, talking about providing information on the portal for oxygen suppliers, said the GNCTD has issued directions and things are moving smoothly.

Senior Counsel Rahul Mehra, appearing for the GNCTD, said, “Yes Milord, things are now smooth, we have bigger stock. As far as the suppliers are concerned, we should supply data, it should be real time data, we are not there as of now.

“We are sending communication to them, most of them are still not complying with this. One day Milords can keep for refillers and call them before the Bench. Majority of them are not complying. Either we’ll take strict action,” he added.

Justice Sanghi said, “Give a List of refillers, who are not complying and we’ll call them.” Mr Mehra submitted the list before the court. ILNS/KR/RJ
