Uttar Pradesh Sept 11(ILNS): Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said above while speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new National Law University proposed to be established at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
The Law Minister highlighted that the Central government is very keen to work closely with all National Law Universities and law academies while adding that the central government wants to make India a hub of international arbitration.
“We want to strengthen India’s judicial system and will take steps to make the judiciary stronger,” he said.
Rijiju added further that the central government under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes to develop a strong relationship with all judges of High Courts and the Apex Court.
He stated that the Centre would work with the judiciary in order to facilitate the delivery of justice to the common man and the delivery of Justice must be made a priority, he added.
The event was also attended by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, President Ram Nath Kovind, Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, and other respected dignitaries./ILNS/SS/SNG
