BCD announces Rs 50,000 to COVID-infected Lawyers

New Delhi, April 29 (ILNS) The Delhi Bar Council has announced financial help to the tune of Rs 25,000-Rs 50,000 to Advocates, who get infected with Novel Coronavirus.

All those lawyers, who are enrolled with BCD, if infected with COVID-19, will be extended financial help of Rs 25000 on home quarantine and Rs 50,000, if hospitalised and not covered by any insurance scheme, Senior advocate and BCD chairman Ramesh Gupta said.

Advocates can e-mail their COVID positive reports, admission proof and copy of I/Card & bank account details on below mentioned email Ids secretary@delhibarcouncil.com & financialhelpawftrustee@delhibarcouncil.com, or call on 9990742770  and 7838544654 for any assistance, added Mr Gupta.
