Bar Council of Delhi to distribute food items to lawyers

New Delhi, May 12, (ILNS) The Bar Council of Delhi has stepped in to help its members who are in financial strain due to the closure of Courts for a long period. In its press release the BCD Chairman and Senior Advocate Mr Ramesh Gupta said, ” We are aware of the financial crisis being faced by many lawyers during the lockdown and are aware of the financial strain on the members due to the closure of Courts for a long period and as a first step for minimising difficulties, has decided to distribute ration and vegetable kits from the coming Friday / Saturday at the respective offices of all Six District Bar Associations.

The distribution of the same will be monitored by the Bar Council members in coordination with the respective Bar Associations, Mr Rajiv Khosla, Co-ordinator, BCD said./ILNS/SNG
